Oregon Science Fiction Conventions, Inc.
Oregon Science Fiction Conventions, Inc. (OSFCI) is a group of fans in Portland, Oregon that sponsors science fiction conventions and related events. OSFCI and all OSFCI events are entirely volunteer-run, and any surpluses are donated to recognized non-profit organizations. OSFCI itself is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit corporation.
OSFCI sponsors* the following funds:
The Endeavour Award: An award given to the best novel written during the previous year by an author residing in the Pacific Northwest.
The Susan C. Petrey Clarion Scholarship Fund: An endowment that awards scholarships to both the Clarion & Clarion West writers’ workshops and also supports an instructor at Clarion West as a Petrey Fellow.
The John Andrews Memorial Worldcon Scholarship: A scholarship to Worldcon given in memorium to John Andrews, an important founding member of OSFCI and OryCon, and a life-long volunteer.
